The Z10 Odin is a versatile Ethernet traffic generator from Teledyne LeCroy Xena, designed to test Ethernet devices across six speeds—10Mbps, 100Mbps, 1G, 2.5G, 5G, and 10G—using NRZ (non-return to zero) modulation. It is available in both Xena’s fixed 1U Compact chassis and modular 4U B720/2400 chassis, with the Z10cc Odin variant exclusive to the Compact chassis. The platform includes user-friendly software such as XenaManager and applications for automated RFC testing, facilitating performance, QA, compliance, and functional assessments. Additionally, the E100 Chimera module can be integrated to emulate network impairments like latency and jitter, enabling comprehensive real-world condition testing.
